1. Scope

This Privacy Policy explains how Nova processes information when you use its mobile applications, customer web application, voice and messaging experiences, connected services and related websites. Nova’s Android app is planned for 1 October 2026, with iOS coming soon; the exact surfaces available to you depend on your invitation, region and device. It describes our current early-access practices; a contract or enterprise addendum may provide additional terms for an organisation.

2. Information you provide

  • account and invitation details, including name, email address, profile and sign-in identifiers;
  • messages, voice notes, recordings, transcriptions, attachments, tasks, reminders, notes and instructions you submit;
  • people, phone numbers, calendar details, email content and other information you choose to make available through connected services;
  • support messages, feedback, device details, logs and diagnostic information; and
  • preferences, relationship context and other memory entries that Nova stores to continue a conversation or carry out a request.

2a. Waitlist information

If you join the public waitlist, we process the email address you provide, any optional name, launch attribution such as source or UTM values, consent and the status of your invitation or introductory access. We use this information to manage the queue, prevent duplicate or abusive submissions, contact you about your invitation and administer the one-month introductory offer. You may request deletion or correction by contacting us.

3. Information received from connected services

When you connect a provider, Nova receives the categories needed for the features you enable—such as Google identity, calendar events, contacts, tasks, email metadata or content, and call status. The exact scope is shown during connection and may change when a provider or feature changes. We do not ask for a provider permission merely to display it; you can disconnect an account through the available settings or by contacting us.

4. How we use information

  • authenticate you, enforce invite-only access and secure your account;
  • understand requests, maintain conversation history and execute actions you ask Nova to perform;
  • store useful preferences and relationship context so you do not need to repeat yourself;
  • place or receive calls, transcribe or summarise audio, send messages and return progress or outcome updates;
  • operate, troubleshoot, measure reliability and improve the Service, including investigating abuse and preventing duplicate or unauthorised actions; and
  • communicate about access, changes, support, security and service operations.

5. AI, telephony and tool providers

To provide Nova, we may send relevant content to the model, search, hosting, telephony, transcription, notification and tool providers you or the Service have enabled. They process information to perform the requested operation, under their own terms and security practices. Nova does not sell your personal information. We do not permit providers to use connected content for unrelated advertising by default, but provider-specific terms and configurations may apply; ask us for current subprocessors for your account.

6. Calls, voice and other people’s information

Calls and contact data often concern people other than the account holder. You are responsible for a lawful basis and any notice or consent required to collect, record, transcribe, summarise, store or share their information. Do not use Nova to secretly record or monitor people, or to upload sensitive information you are not authorised to process. We may retain call metadata, notes and transcripts according to your settings, provider behaviour and the retention choices described below.

7. Memory and retention

Nova may keep conversation history, tasks, reminders, notes, preferences and relationship context so it can follow through on multi-step requests. We retain information while your account is active or as needed to provide the requested feature, resolve disputes, prevent abuse, comply with law and maintain secure backups. You can ask us to correct or delete information; deletion may take time to propagate through active systems, backups and connected providers, and does not undo a message or calendar action already sent.

8. Sharing and disclosure

We may share information with service providers acting on our instructions, connected providers you select, people or organisations you direct Nova to contact, and authorities where required by law or necessary to protect rights, safety or the Service. We may disclose information as part of a merger, financing, reorganisation or sale, subject to applicable confidentiality and notice requirements. We do not sell personal information.

9. Security

We use access controls, encrypted transport and operational safeguards appropriate to the Service, but no system is completely secure. You must protect devices, passwords, pairing codes, API keys and connected accounts, and report suspected compromise promptly. Do not send secrets in ordinary chat or support messages.

9a. Website analytics

Our public website may use privacy-conscious analytics and, where you consent, a heatmap service to understand page performance and improve the experience. These tools are limited to the public landing pages, mask form fields and do not receive your Nova conversations, contacts, calendar, call content or connected-account data. You can decline optional analytics where the consent control is available.

10. Your choices and requests

You may disconnect providers, change preferences, stop using a feature, ask for a copy or correction of account information, or request deletion by contacting hello@callnova.in. We may need to verify your identity and authority before fulfilling a request. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local privacy law; this policy does not remove those rights.

11. Children and sensitive use

Nova is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to the processing involved. Do not use the Service for emergency dispatch, diagnosis, treatment, credit, employment, legal representation, or other high-impact decisions without appropriate human review and safeguards.

12. Changes and contact

We may update this Policy as the Service evolves. The current version will be posted here with an updated effective date, and material changes will receive a reasonable in-product notice where practical. Privacy questions can be sent to hello@callnova.in.
