1. About these terms
These Terms of Service (the “Terms”) govern your access to and use of Nova, including its mobile applications, customer web application, voice and messaging experiences, connected-account features, web research, memory features, and related websites and services (collectively, the “Service”). Nova’s Android app is planned for 1 October 2026, with iOS coming soon; availability can vary by invitation, region and device. “Nova”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the service operator identified in your invitation, account materials or applicable order.
By creating an account, accepting an invitation, signing in, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms and the Privacy Policy. If you use Nova for an organisation, you confirm that you are authorised to bind that organisation and “you” includes it. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. Invite-only access and accounts
Nova is in controlled early access. An invitation is personal, may be withdrawn, and does not guarantee continued access or a public release. You must provide accurate account information, keep sign-in credentials and devices secure, and tell us promptly if you suspect unauthorised access.
You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for ensuring that every person who uses a connected account, device, phone number or workspace has the required authority. Do not share sessions or pairing credentials, bypass an invitation, or create accounts to evade a suspension.
2a. Waitlist and introductory access
Joining the Nova waitlist does not create an account or guarantee an invitation. For the launch currently announced for 1 October 2026, eligible invited users may receive one month of access at no charge, without a payment card. The free period begins when an invited user successfully activates an account, not when they submit a waitlist form, and may be subject to capacity, eligibility, supported-region and product-availability conditions.
We may change the launch timing or introductory offer before activation. We will not charge a payment method for the introductory period unless you separately choose a paid plan and provide the required billing authorisation.
3. What Nova does—and does not do
Nova turns natural-language requests into actions across supported services. Depending on your setup, it may search or read web pages, create or change calendar events, manage tasks and reminders, find or update contacts, draft email, place or receive calls, transcribe or summarise audio, and coordinate connected tools.
Capabilities depend on enabled connectors, permissions, device state, provider availability, network conditions and plan limits. Nova may ask for clarification, show progress, defer an action, or report that it could not verify an outcome. You remain responsible for reviewing important results and for decisions made using them.
4. Connected accounts and instructions
You choose which third-party accounts and tools to connect. You authorise Nova to access and act on those services only within the permissions you grant. You must have the right to grant that access and must follow each provider’s terms, usage limits and privacy rules.
Natural-language instructions can be ambiguous. You should review recipients, phone numbers, times, locations, attachments, messages and other material details before allowing a consequential action. Nova may rely on context from your conversation and saved preferences, but it does not make an instruction legally valid, and it is not a substitute for your review.
5. Calls, messages and recordings
Where voice calling is enabled, Nova may place or receive calls through a telephony provider and may return notes, transcripts, status updates or follow-up suggestions. Call connection, caller ID, recording, transcription and delivery depend on the carrier, local law, the other participant and provider configuration.
You are responsible for informing participants and obtaining any consent required before recording, transcribing, storing or sharing a call. Do not use Nova to impersonate a person, mislead a caller about the nature of an automated assistant, harass, threaten, spam, or make unlawful robocalls. You are responsible for complying with calling, consent, do-not-call and marketing rules in every location involved.
6. Acceptable use
You may use the Service only for lawful, authorised purposes. You must not:
- use Nova to violate law, regulation, court order, contract or another person’s rights;
- request fraud, phishing, credential theft, harassment, discrimination, abuse, surveillance or harmful automation;
- send unsolicited bulk messages or calls, evade consent or do-not-contact controls, or misrepresent Nova’s identity;
- upload malware, attempt to bypass access controls, probe or disrupt the Service, or interfere with another user’s data;
- reverse engineer, resell, frame, scrape or copy the Service except as expressly permitted in writing; or
- use outputs as the sole basis for medical, legal, financial, employment, safety-critical or emergency decisions.
7. AI output and third-party results
Nova’s responses, summaries, transcriptions, plans and recommendations are generated from available context and may be incomplete, stale, incorrect or unsuitable. Web results and connected-service data belong to their respective providers. You must verify important facts, recipients, dates and actions before relying on them.
Nova may use third-party models, telephony providers, search providers, hosting providers and tool servers. Their availability and terms may change independently. We do not guarantee that a provider will accept, execute, preserve or reverse an action requested through Nova.
8. Your content and feedback
You retain rights in prompts, files, recordings, contacts, messages, notes and other material you submit (“User Content”). You grant us the limited rights needed to host, process, transmit, secure, troubleshoot and provide the Service, including routing content to providers you have enabled. You are responsible for having the rights and permissions needed for User Content and for the instructions you give Nova.
If you send suggestions or feedback, you allow us to use them without restriction or payment, provided we do not identify you publicly without permission.
9. Availability, changes and beta limitations
The Service is provided during an evolving early-access period. Features may be added, changed, paused or removed; maintenance, outages, provider failures and device limitations may interrupt access. We may release experimental features with separate notices. We do not promise uninterrupted service, a particular response time, compatibility with every device or preservation of every draft or queued action.
We may update these Terms to reflect the Service. We will post the current version and update the effective date. Continued use after an update means you accept the updated Terms; if a change is material, we will use a reasonable in-product notice where practical.
10. Suspension and termination
You may stop using Nova at any time and request account closure through the contact page. We may restrict, suspend or terminate access if you breach these Terms, create risk, misuse a provider, fail to pay an applicable charge, or if continuing the Service is no longer commercially or technically practical.
On termination, your right to use the Service ends. Some data may remain for backups, legal obligations, dispute handling or security for the periods described in the Privacy Policy. Sections that by their nature should survive—including ownership, disclaimers, liability limits, indemnity and dispute provisions—survive termination.
11. Ownership
The Service, Nova name and logo, software, interfaces, designs and documentation are owned by or licensed to the operator and protected by applicable law. These Terms grant a limited, revocable, non-exclusive right to use the Service during your authorised access; they do not transfer ownership or grant rights to reproduce, modify, distribute or commercialise any part of it.
12. Disclaimers
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of uninterrupted operation, accuracy, availability, fitness for a particular purpose, non-infringement or error-free performance. Nova is an assistant, not a fiduciary, emergency service, professional adviser or human representative. Nothing in the Service creates a guarantee that a call was connected, a person agreed, a meeting was booked, a message was sent, or a provider completed an action unless the relevant system confirms it.
13. Liability and indemnity
To the maximum extent permitted by law, the operator and its affiliates, personnel and providers will not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary or punitive loss, or for lost profits, data, goodwill, opportunities, communications or business interruption arising from the Service. The total liability for claims relating to the Service will not exceed the amount you paid for the Service in the twelve months before the event giving rise to the claim, or the minimum amount required by law where no payment was made. You agree to defend and indemnify the operator against claims arising from your User Content, instructions, connected accounts, calls, messages, unlawful use or breach of these Terms.
14. Contact
Questions about these Terms can be sent to hello@callnova.in. These Terms are product terms, not legal advice; organisations with regulated or high-risk use cases should obtain independent legal advice before deployment.
